Estelle Dyson Spivey

Asheboro - Estelle Dyson Spivey, 85, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2016, at Clapp's Convalescent Nursing Home in Asheboro.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 16, 2016, at Biscoe Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Dr. Bruce Lax officiating. Interment will be in Biscoe Cemetery.

Mrs. Spivey was born in Fayetteville to Tommie Franklin and Lena Elizabeth Hussey Dyson. She was retired from BB Walker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton E. Spivey.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Dutt (Swandip) of Raleigh; son, Randy Spivey (Beth) of Greensboro; sisters, Betty Bailey of Greenville, Frances (Peggy) Maness of High Point; grandchildren, Radhika Dutt of Raleigh, Christopher Spivey of Jamestown, and Sarabeth Spivey of Greensboro; several nieces and nephews,

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Friday, July 15, 2016, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star.
