Eunice Parsons Brewer

Star - Eunice Parsons Brewer, 86, of 140 East Bank Street, died Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at FirstHealth Moore Regional. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 12, 2012, at Browns Chapel Christian Church with the Rev. Hubert McLeod and Rev. Michael Parenti officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Brewer was born in Montgomery County to Solomon Lancaster and Nola Ritter Parsons. She attended Leach Road Holiness Church and was a former employee of Clayson Knitting Company Inc. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, S. L. Parsons, J. D. Parsons; sisters, Larue Hare, Loreene Burrow; husband, Shelton Cleo Brewer. She is survived by her son, Gary J. Spivey, of Sarasota, Florida; daughter, Joyce S. Wallace and husband, Richard, of Star; granddaughter, Myra W. Hicks; great-grandson, Dalton L. Hicks; great-great-grandson, Tryntin Lee Davis; step-sons, Shelton Brewer, James Brewer, Vincent Brewer; step-daughter, Terria Brewer; pet dog, Tippi. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star and other times at Star Hotel Bed & Breakfast, 118 N Main Street, Star.
