Everett P. Freeman

Star - Everett Paul Freeman, 84, of 2443 Jason Road, died Friday, December 3, 2010, at his residence. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, December 5, 2010, at Dover Baptist Church, where he was a member, with Pastor Dr. Don Davis officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Freeman was a native of Moore County. He was born on May 21, 1926, the son of the late Jason Freeman and the late Lzzie Newton Freeman. He retired from Friendly Chevrolet and was a World War II veteran of the US Army. Surviving are his wife, Louise C. Freeman, of the home; daughters, Sylvia Baumberger and husband, Tom Baumberger, of Star, Cynthia Dabestani and husband, Ahmad Dabestani, of Charlotte; granddaughters, Alysia Preslar of Bennett, Kristy Baumberger of West End; grandsons, Justin and Jonathan Dabestani both of Charlotte; four great-grandchildren; brother, E. J.Freeman, of Star. The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM, Saturday, December 4, 2010, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star and other times at the home of Sylvia and Tom Baumberger, 2448 Jason Road, Star.
