Exie Bruce Boykin

Exie Bruce Boykin, age 92, of Ether, passed away on October 30, 2024, at Autumn Care.

Exie was born in Moore County on August 18, 1932, to Dan and Myrtle Moore Bruce.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Ruth Garner and Louise Williamson and brother Coy Bruce.

She is survived by her sons Billie McNeill of Ether and Bruce McNeill of Biscoe; brother Jerry Bruce (Juanita) of Ether and sister Vernell McIntyre (Bill) of Asheboro. As well as four grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 1, 2024, at Phillips Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 pm.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at 3:00 pm at Grace Baptist Temple Church with Rev. Marc Myers officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
