Mrs. Fairy Simmons Britt, age 72, of 2302 White Pine Lane, Asheboro, died Friday, October 23, 2009 at Autumn Care of Biscoe. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, October 26, at Flint Hill Christian Church Cemetery, Hwy. 24-27 East, Biscoe with Rev. Larry Ward officiating. Mrs. Britt was born in Columbus County to Robert and Frances Smith Simmons. She was a textile worker. Surviving are: Two Daughters: Kathryn Lilly, Star, NC Gloria Brock, Troy, NC One Sister: Mary Lou Ward, Sunset Beach, NC Six grandchildren Ten great grandchildren The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM, Monday, October 26, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star.
