Faye Allene Davis

Star - Faye Allene Davis, 83, of 1899 Jason Road. died Thursday, October 3, 2013, at Autumn Care of Biscoe. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 5, 2013, at Dover Baptist Church, where she was a long-time member, with the Rev. Patrick Robinson and Rev. Neil Jackson officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Davis was born in Moore County to Earl and Fannie Brewer Davis and was retired from Russell Hosiery Mill. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard E. Davis. She is survived by her two sons, Larry Davis and wife, Judy, of Star, Jeff Davis and wife, Jerri, of Star; four grandchildren, Gloria Davis of Asheboro, Alisa Perryman and husband, Neil, of Star, Keith Davis and wife, Julia, of Star, Garrett Davis of Star; five great-grandchildren, Larry and Stephanie Perryman, Marshall, Emma, and Cohen Davis; sister, Lois Davis of Seagrove. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Friday, October 4, 2013, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star and other times at the home of Larry and Judy Davis, 1863 Jason Road, Star.
