Floyd John McNeill

Floyd John McNeill, age 88, of Seagrove, passed away on April 7, 2023 at First Health Moore Regional Hospital.

Mr. McNeill was born in Moore County on September 11, 1934, to Henry and Sarah Latham McNeill. He was retired from Energizer Battery and he enjoyed going to flea markets.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Zelma McNeill, son, Larry McNeill, sisters, Annie Mofield, Bonnie Beane, and Madie Jordan; brothers, Grady McNeill, Colon McNeill and Carl McNeill.

Floyd is survived by his sons, Phillip McNeill (Audrey) of Seagrove and Jerry McNeill (Sharon) of Seagrove; daughter-in-law, Sharon Harper McNeill of Seagrove; sister, Eva Garner (Bill) of Robbins; and brother, Garland McNeill (Joyce) of Bennett. Nine grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 10, 2023 at Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery at 2:00 pm with Rev. Kenneth McNeill officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 7912 Union Grove Church Road, Seagrove, NC 27341.
