Frances Leach

Biscoe - Frances Leach, age 99, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 11, 2018, at her home. Mrs. Leach was born in Montgomery County on October 12, 1918 to Malcolm Alexander and Eliza Lou Renee Lamonds Leach. She was a retired dietitian from Samarcand Manor in Eagle Springs. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Arthur Leach; her five siblings, Berlie Yarboro, Mary Bell Leach, Nannie Lee Leach (infant), Colon Achibad Leach (infant), and Richard Alexander Leach (infant). She is survived by four daughters, Madge Coleman (Bill) of Cherryville, Sandra Blue of Biscoe, Rita Crowley of Aberdeen, and Bonnie McLeod of Star; one son, Ronnie Leach (Janet) of Biscoe; nine grandchildren, Donna Hill (Justin), Terry Hall, Scott Blue (Michelle), Shane Blue (deceased), Todd Leach (Adrienne), Ryan Leach (Erin), Fran Singleton (Nick), Dee Crowley (Lynn), and Danaka Bunch (Lee); fourteen great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 from 1:30 - 2:45 pm at Macedonia Presbyterian Church. The funeral service will begin at 3:00 pm at Macedonia Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Matthew Baker officiating. Interment will be in Laurel Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
