Frances Eva Lee Evans Greene

Troy - Frances Eva Lee Evans Greene, age 89, passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2017, at her home.

Mrs. Greene was born June 29, 1928, to Arvil Dewitt and Ola Agnes Barber Evans. She was a retired CNA.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Bill Lee Greene, and son, William Anthony Greene.

She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Furr (Nelson) of Candor; son, Darrell Lee Greene (Dianne) of Kernersville; daughter-in-law, Judy Singleton Morgan Greene, of Troy; brother, Bill Evans (Anne) of Virginia; sisters, Mary Campbell (Ray) of Asheboro, Brenda Lunsford (Gary) of Archdale; grandchildren, Lisa Wood, Amy Greene-Clonaris, Dana Marshburn, Debra Millikan, Ben Furr, and April Smith; ten great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday, August 5, from 1:00 - 1:45 PM at Star House of Praise.

The funeral will be held on Saturday at 2:00 PM at Star House of Praise, 105 McBride Lumber Road, Star with Rev. Timothy Wolfe, Rev Terry Kivett, and Rev. Matthew Morgan officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
