Frances Rebecca Stewart "Monk"

Frances Rebecca Stewart "Monk" age 96 of Biscoe passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at SECU Hospice House of Brunswick, in Bolivia NC.

Frances was born in Moore County on April 27, 1926 to the late James Elijah Britt and Gladys Britt. She was a retired Counselor from Samarcand School. She was a member of Flint Hill Christian Church.

Frances is survived by her sons: Ronnie "Pete" Stewart (Robin) of Archdale and Mike Stewart (Janice) of Ocean Isle; grandchildren: Dana Stewart, Becky Wright, Carrie Ann Dorrity, Mikie Stewart, and Matthew Stewart; several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Carl Dowd Stewart; sisters: Mary Louise McCallum and Etta Rea Bailey; and brother Bob Britt.

There are no services planned at this time.
