Georgia Shofe Dunn
Georgia Shofe Dunn, 98, of Troy, passed away on July 21, 2023, at her home.
Georgia was born on November 9, 1924, in Guilford County to Henry and Hassie Beane Shofe.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons John Dunn and Joseph Dunn.
She is survived by her daughter Lois Brady of Bennett; sons Roby Dunn of Seagrove, Roy Dunn of Erect, and Charles Dunn of Star; sister Shirley Carrick of Star; 16 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at Phillips Funeral Home from 4:00-6:00 pm.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel at 4:00 pm with Rev. Darrell Wright, Rev. Andrew Ball and Rev. Billy Chriscoe officiating. Burial will follow at Big Oak Church of God.
