Glenn Edward Goodwin

Biscoe - Glenn Edward Goodwin, 77, died Wednesday, January 27, 2016, at FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 30, 2016, at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Terry Smith and Rev. Jeffery Goodwin officiating. Interment will be in Biscoe Cemetery.

Mr. Goodwin was born in Anson County to Glenn Patrick and Lula Mae Tucker Goodwin. He was a truck driver for L'Gael Manufacturing LLC.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Freddie and Don Goodwin.

He is survived by his wife, Doris Stewart Goodwin, of the home; son, Eddie Goodwin, of Mt. Gilead; step-sons, Ronnie Maness (Jamie) of Simpsonville, SC, Donnie Maness (Brenda), of Biscoe; brothers, Ronnie Goodwin (Bonnie) of Biscoe, Bernie Goodwin (Ruby), of Biscoe; sisters, Martha Overton of Robbins, Dorothy Smith (Roy Lee) of Candor, Pat Bates of Robbins; granddaughter, Olivia Goodwin; 8 step-grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Friday, January 29, 2016, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star.
