SEAGROVE—Grace Marie Baldwin Pridgen passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 20th, 2024, after a battle with cancer complicated by heart failure.
She was born August 23rd, 1950 in Randolph County to the late Arthur Clifton and Grace O'Quinn Baldwin. She was reared in the Westmoore Dover community and graduated from North Moore High School with the class of 1968.
In life, she had a deep love for nature and animals. She was a creative soul with a passion for photography and exploring new places, and her pride in her children and grandchildren followed her everywhere she went. Even when times were tough and when facing health challenges, her bravery and positivity lit up the room like a ray of sunshine. She exuded kindness and warmth to all those around her, and she will be dearly missed by friends and family alike.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 47 years Paul Anthony Pridgen, son Brian Niven Stogner (Kathi) of Martinsburg, West Virginia, daughter Stacy Marie Pridgen of Fort Worth, TX, step daughter Lynda Pridgen Tippette (Jeff) of Rocky Mount, NC; her sisters Anna Lorena Baldwin Saunders of High Point and Betty Inez Baldwin Bostic of Graham. Grandchildren Nathaniel Stogner, Sarah Stogner, Logan Stogner, Abigail Stogner, Jonathan Tippette, and Joseph Tippette.
