Graham J. Chriscoe

Seagrove - Graham Jennings Chriscoe, 84, of 2719 US 220 Alt N, died Wednesday, November 7, 2012, at his residence. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, November 11, 2012, at Asbury Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Wilson, Rev. Clay Davis, and Charles Carter officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Chriscoe was born in Moore County to Clyde Lewis Chriscoe and Ometa Cagle Chriscoe and was a building contractor. He was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather to his family. He was a well-known third generation potter and was the owner of Graham Chriscoe Pottery He was preceded in death by his his siblings, Velma Chriscoe Taylor, Maurice Lewis Chriscoe, Juanita Ann Chriscoe Luther, Clyde Lewis Chriscoe, Jr., and Herbert Franklin Chriscoe. He is survived by his wife, Martha Odom Chriscoe, of the home; daughters, Carolyn Ann Chriscoe Brown and husband, Cam, of Seagrove, Belinda Dawn Chriscoe Artimovich and husband, Chad, of Atlanta, GA; son, Michael Ray Chriscoe and wife, Patsy, of Seagrove; brothers, Colvin Henry Chriscoe, Gilbert Eugene Chriscoe, Bernice James "B.J." Chriscoe, Bradley Cagle Chriscoe, all of Seagrove; sisters, Edna Lou Tillman, of Hampton, VA, Marie Cattie Chriscoe, of Asheboro, Judy Ellen Rice, of Jamestown; grandchildren, Towa Deanne Brown Rice of Douglasville, GA, Chad Cameron Brown of Seagrove, Dana Camille Brown McNeill of Asheboro, Joni Renee Chriscoe Gardner; great-grandchildren, Preston, Caroline, Cameron, Olivia, Graham, Frank, Michael, Victoria, and Riley; 33 nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Saturday, November 10, 2012, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star and other times at the home.
