Hadley Max Auman, 85, of Biscoe, died Sunday, January 11, 2015 at his residence. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, January 14, at Suggs Creek Primitive Baptist Church with Elder John Wingfield and Rev. Clyde Allen officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Auman was born in Montgomery County to George Hadley and Maggie Bean Auman. He was a sewing machine fixer for Montgomery Hosiery. Surviving are his wife, Esther Dunn Auman, of the home; daughter, Alice Noah (Gary) of Biscoe; brother, Jack Auman of Charlotte; grandson, Adam Noah of Biscoe; granddaughter, Tina Bibey (Matt) of Star; great-grandson, Mason Noah; and great-grandaughter, Hope Bibey. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Tuesday, January 13, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star.
