Harriet Elizabeth Green Smith

Biscoe - Harriet Elizabeth “Hatsy” Green Smith, 91, died Tuesday, December 20, 2016, at FirstHealth Hospice House.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, December 23, 2016, at Page Memorial United Methodist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Vic Hill officiating. Interment will be in Biscoe Cemetery.

Ms. Smith was born in Clarendon County, SC to Thomas and Pearl DuBose Green. She was retired from Springs Inc Aileen Plant in Biscoe, where she was employed for 41 years.

She is survived by her son, Robbie Smith (Lou Ann), of Troy; daughters, Suzy Haywood (Edgar), of Oak Island, Leigh Anne Lamonds (Kevin), of Candor; grandchildren, Chris Smith, Bill Saunders, Charlie Lamonds, Brandi Black; great-grandchildren, Morgan King, Caitlin Saunders, Alexis Saunders, Bronwyn Smith, Carrington Smith, Brianna Andrews, and James Andrews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Thursday, December 22, 2016, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star.
