Hazel Beane Sanders

Hazel Beane Sanders, 85, of Asheboro, died Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Woodland Hill Center.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, October 4, at Big Oak Church of God, 951 Black Ankle Road, Star. with the Rev. Darrell Wright officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Sanders was born in Montgomery County to Thomas and Pearl Beane. She was retired from Jockey International.

Surviving are her sons, Eugene Graves (Becky) of Asheboro, Ron Sanders of Asheboro; brothers, Hobert Beane (Wilma) of Star, Gurney Beane (Deborah) of Star; sister, Frances Dunn of Star; grandchildren, Angie Roy (Tommy), Kevin Auman (Emily), Nathan Auman (Julie); great-grandchildren, Taylor Graves (Shayna), Audee, Ree-ana, Daylin, and Thomas Auman; great-great-grandchild, Raylee Graves.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Monday, October 3, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star.
