Seagrove - Henry Farrell Chriscoe, 75, of Seagrove, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 27, 2014, in Morristown, TN. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, May 30, 2014, at Community Baptist Church with the Rev. Howard Moffitt and Rev. Clay Davis officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. He was born in Randolph County to Henry L. and Mamie Stutts Chriscoe. He was a truck driver for Diggers Specialists in Randleman. His favorite pastime was attending auction sales. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his children, Jimmy, Melba, Delores, Daniel; brother, Recil. He is survived by his children, Clara Mae Chriscoe of Seagrove, Gurney Chriscoe and wife, Sharon, of Robbins, Melvin Chriscoe of Robbins, Donald Keith Chriscoe of Seagrove, Amy Hunsucker of Robbins, Anna Chriscoe of Robbins; only wife and her husband, Annie Davis and Bobby Gillis, of Seagrove; brother, Curtis Chriscoe and wife, Ann, of Seagrove; sister, Blanche Cox and husband, Worth, of Seagrove; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Thursday, May 29, 2014, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star and other times at the home of Annie and Bobby Gillis.
