Irene Burroughs Kendrick

Greensboro - Irene Burroughs Kendrick, 87, of Ocklawaha, Florida, formerly of Greensboro, died Wednesday, January 25, 2012, at The Villages Regional Hospital in Florida. Visitation will be held from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM on Monday, January 30, 2012, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star. A private interment will be held. Mrs. Kendrick was born in Mt. Gilead to Luther and Jennie Blake Burroughs. Surviving are her sons, Roger Burroughs, Jimmy Kendrick; grandchildren, Nicole, Stacy, and Roger Burroughs, Jr., Farrah Kendrick, all of Florida; sister, Donnie B. Newman, of Biscoe.
