Belmont - Jacqueline Deaton Beveridge, age 91, formerly of Greensboro, passed away Saturday, February 9, 2019, at her residence.
Mrs. Beveridge was born on September 12, 1927, to Willie Franklin and Leila Lamonds Deaton. She was retired from JC Penney in Greensboro, where she worked in cosmetics. She was a member of Rocky Knoll Baptist Church in Greensboro.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Beveridge.
She is survived by her son, Don Beveridge, of Dallas; grandson, Drew Beveridge and his wife, Candice, of Dallas; granddaughter, Kim Stipe and husband, Tim, of Landis; great-granddaughters, Riley Beveridge of Dallas, Kristen Albrough of Landis, and Alexis Stipe of Landis; and niece, Suzanne Butturff, of Centerfield, VA and her sons, Eric Butturff of Burlington and Kevin Butturff of Alexandria, VA.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 2:45 p.m., Wednesday, February 13, at Phillips Funeral Home.
The funeral service will begin at 3:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Rodney Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in the Deaton Family Cemetery in Star.
