James Harold Carter

Biscoe - James Harold Carter, 74, of Sparkway Drive, died Thursday, April 30, 2015, at his residence. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, May 3, 2015, at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Andrew Hurlburt officiating. Interment will be in Big Oak Church of God Cemetery. Mr. Carter was born in Guilford County to Dallas Corder and Helen Janice Carter. He was a retired hosiery mill employee in maintenance and a fixer. He is survived by his companion, Margaret Lemons, of the home; daughters, Patricia Stone of Seagrove, Angela Latham (Darrell) of Troy, Sonya Cesaro of Troy, Crystal Rushing (Bobby) of Albemarle; sons, Mickey Carter of Star, Rex Cagle of Star, Billy Cagle of Robbins; sister, Linda Carter of Star; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Saturday, May 2, 2015, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star.
