Biscoe - James Clayton "J.C." Williams, age 95, passed away Saturday, December 22, 2018, at his home.
Mr. Williams was born in Richmond County on July 6, 1923, to Lida W. Maness. He was a Sunday school teacher for 55 years. He retired from Springs Mill with 40 years of service and was a WWII veteran of the US Army.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jewel L. Williams; brother, Norman Williams; and sister, Nell Simpson Stowe.
He is survived by his children, Sam Davis (Rhonda), Judy Dunn (Benny), James Williams (Lynn), Kim Williams (Stacey), and Patricia Goodwin; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 26, at Biscoe Cemetery with the Rev. Junior F. Davis officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Randolph County Honor Guard.
