James Edward Mauldin

James Edward "Jamie" Mauldin, Jr., age 31, of 2433 George York Rd., Randleman died Monday, September 24, 2007 at Randolph Hospital.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 27, 2007 at 2:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro with Rev. Faron Overton officiating. Burial will be at New Hope Memorial Garden.

Mr. Mauldin was a native of Randolph County, NC, attended Harvest Field Baptist Church in Asheboro, and was employed by Tyco Electronics in Greensboro. Jamie enjoyed hunting, fishing and racing. He was preceded in death by his brother, Dennis Green.

He is survived by his wife, Tela Mauldin, daughter, Kendall Leigh Mauldin, of the home; son, Cory Austin Mauldin, of the home; mother, Sharon Mauldin and her fianc Tony Steele of Rockingham; father, James Mauldin and his wife, Wanda of Asheboro; brothers, Thomas Mauldin and his wife Mary of Troy, NC, David Green and his wife Tracy of Asheboro; sister, Cindy Green of Asheboro; and other family and friends.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 26, 2007 from 6 - 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, Asheboro, other times at his fathers home at 301 S. High St., Asheboro.
