Jean Pusser Brewer

Biscoe - Jean Pusser Brewer, 76, of Biscoe, died Thursday, June 5, 2014, at her home. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, June 8, 2014, at First Baptist Church of West End, 5205 NC 211 Hwy, West End, with the Rev. Scott McKennis and Rev. John Terry officiating. Interment will be in West End Cemetery. Mrs. Brewer was born in Richmond County to Herman Lee and Ruby Corrinne McCall Pusser. She was a retired seamstress. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Brewer. She is survived by her sons, Eddie Brewer, of Leland, David Brewer of Biscoe; daughters, Teresa Lamonds of Candor, Penny Locklear of Eagle Springs; brothers, Joe Pusser of West End, Lamar Pusser of West End, Larry Pusser of Eagle Springs, Bobby Pusser of West End; sisters, Peggy Smith of West End, Pat Saunders of West End, Sarah Britt of Fairmont, Frances Lewis of Atlantic Beach, six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Saturday, June 7, 2014, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of West End Building Fund, PO Box 501, West End, NC 27376.
