Jerry G. O'Neal, Sr. Star - Jerry Glenn O'Neal, Sr., age 61, of 280 Wilbert Road, died Monday, February 23, 2009, at FirstHealth Montgomery Memorial Hospital in Troy. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, February 27, 2009, at Star House of Praise with the Rev. Phil Staton and the Rev. Gary Waisner officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. He was a native of Forsyth County and was a manager at McDonald's. Surviving are his wife, Deborah Williams O'Neal, of the home; daughter, Nikki Lee, of Baden Lake; son, Jerry O'Neal, Jr., of Kernersville; step-daughter, April W. Brown, of Star; step-sons, Hank Williams, Heath Williams, Holt Williams, all of Star; father and step-mother, James and Sylvia O'Neal, of Greensboro; five grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, February 26, 2009, at Phillips Funeral Home in Star and other times at the home. The family is being served by Phillips Funeral Home in Star.
