Jimmy Lee Britt

Jimmy Lee Britt, age 70, of 156 Boone Street, Seagrove, NC died Friday, May 15, 2009, at his residence. Funeral will be held Sunday, May 17, 4:00 pm, at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel, 216 South Main Street, Star with Rev. Howard Moffitt officiating. Interment will be in New Center Christian Church Cemetery, 6448 New Center Church Road, Seagrove. Mr. Britt was born in Montgomery County to Ralph Clinton Britt and Mary Freeman Britt. He worked in timber sales as a truck driver. Surviving are: Wife - Polly Marion Britt of the home Daughter - Sandra Jones and husband, Gary, of Seagrove Two Grandchildren - H. L. and Tracy Cagle One Great-Grandchild - Haiden Lee Cagle The family will receive friends at Phillips Funeral Home from 2:30 - 3:30 pm on Sunday prior to the funeral. At other times, the family will be at 5882 South Rock Road, Seagrove.
