Seagrove - John Edward McNeill, 71, of Union Grove Church Road, died Wednesday, September 30, 2015, at Wake Forest Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, October 3, 2015, at Union Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Ron Chaney and the Rev. Howard Moffitt officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Mr. McNeill was born in Randolph County to John Robert McNeill, Jr. and Mary Ellen McNeill. He was the owner/operator of Old Hard Times Pottery for 20 years. He is survived by his wife, Janey Braddock McNeill, of the home; daughters, Robin Wright Sheffield (Mark) of Star, Rashell Jane Wright (Henry) of Seagrove, Bethany Michele Brown of the home; son, Randall DeWayne Wright, of Seagrove; sister, Doris Garner (Winfred) of Seagrove; grandchildren, Brittni, Marc (Jennifer), Jonathon, Zack (Ashley), Hunter, Hannah; great-grandchildren, Brycen, Gracey; nephews and nieces, Ken Garner (Shelley), Dale Garner (Melissa), and Renee Myrick (Roby. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 PM - 2:45 PM, Saturday, October 3, 2015, at Union Grove Baptist Church.
