Joseph Webster Davis

Seagrove - Joseph Webster Davis, Sr., age 77, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at his home.

Mr. Davis was born in Montgomery County on September 14, 1940 to Daniel Webster and Exie Mae (Page) Davis. He was a retired supervisor in furniture manufacturing and was a member of Dover Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Rev. Martin Davis, Calvin Davis, Herbert Davis, and Clinton Davis.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah Pat (Myrick) Davis, of the home; three sons, Joey Davis of

Seagrove, Daniel Davis (Ashley) of Robbins, and Jeremy Davis (Crystal) of Seagrove; two sisters, Ottie McQueen (James) of Star and Dorothy Davis of Liberty; five grandchildren, Caleb, Ethan, Kelsey, Paisley, and Riley.

The family will receive friends Friday, February 9, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home and other times at the home.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday at 2:00 pm at Dover Baptist Church with the Rev. Chris Bouldin and Rev. Gene Davis officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
