Joy Darlene Coley Callicutt

Biscoe - Joy Darlene Coley Callicutt, 60, died Thursday, March 24, 2016, at FirstHealth Hospice House.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, March 27, 2016, at Shady Grove Christian Church with the Rev. Jack Phillips and Rev. Frankie Royal officiating. Interment will be in Biscoe Cemetery.

Mrs. Callicutt was born in Lee County to Marvin Woodrow and Florence Knight Coley. She was a hosiery mill worker.

She was preceded in death by her father.

She is survived by her husband, Donnie Lee Callicutt, of Biscoe; two sons, Phillip Wayne Callicutt and wife, Lisa, of Asheboro, Donald Lee Callicutt and wife, Caryn, of Biscoe; mother, Florence Knight Coley, of Sanford; two sisters, Jo Ann Dean of Sanford, Denise Blackwelder of Pittsboro; five precious grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Saturday, March 26, 2016, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star and other times at the home of Donald and Caryn Callicutt, McCaskill Road, Biscoe.
