Kaci Cristin Pritchard

Kaci C. Pritchard West End - Miss Kaci Cristin Pritchard, age 18, died Thursday, May 14, 2009. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 16, 2009, at the Church of the Open Door in Pinehurst, where she was a founding member, with Dr. David Boroughs and the Rev. Robbie L. Gibson officiating. Miss Pritchard was a native of Moore County, a 2008 graduate of Pinecrest High School, attends Sandhills Community College studying Culinary Arts, and was employed by Pinehurst Resort. Surviving are her parents, Bruce and Ruby Pritchard, of the home; sister, Stephanie Knight and husband, Rickey, of Fayetteville; brothers, Bryce Pritchard, Ryan Pritchard; maternal grandparents, Bernard and Essie Sexton, of Candor; paternal grandmother, Dorothy Pritchard, of Eagle Springs; paternal grandfather, Willis Pritchard, of Asheboro; one niece, Shyann Knight. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Church of the Open Door, 1184 Hoffman Road, West End, NC 27376. Phillips Funeral Home in Star is serving the family.
