Kenneth Ray Hinson

Star - Kenneth Ray Hinson, age 84, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2021, at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center in Salisbury. Mr. Hinson was born in Montgomery County on July 31, 1936 to Paul and Mary Elizabeth Lassiter Hinson. He was a retired fixer at Springs Aileen Plant Inc. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Ellen Leach Hinson and brother, Cecil Hinson. He is survived by his daughters, Paula Wallace (Garrett) of Mt. Gilead and Mandy Kennette Hinson of Candor; sons, Kenneth Ray Hinson, Jr. (Pamela) of Robbins and Robert Benjamin Hinson of Star; sisters, Vonnette Cox of Havelock, Brenda Luck (Darius) of Seagrove, and Carol Dennis (Dan) of Star; and six grandchildren. No funeral services are planned. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Montgomery County Humane Society, c/o Sally Morris, 1150 Okeewemee Rd., Troy, NC 27371.
