Larry Wayne Brady

Larry Wayne Brady, age 71, of Eagle Springs, passed away on March 11, 2022, at First Health Moore Regional Hospital.

Mr. Brady was born in Montgomery County on August 30, 1950 to Whitt and Gladys Hogan Brady.  He worked at Springs Mills and he liked hunting, fishing, gardening and playing his guitar.  He also loved his grandchildren and talking about the good ole days.

He was preceded in death by his sisters Martha Britt, Nan Beaver, and Mary Lou Coleman;  brothers Robert Brady, Pete Brady, Jimmy Brady, Charles Brady, Walter Brady and Arthur Brady.

He is survived by his wife Teresa Dunn Brady of the home;  daughters Anna Bean of Robbins, Regina McCollum ( David) of Eagle Springs; son Jamie Wayne Brady of Eagle Springs; sisters Betty Ann Myers of Star; Carol Maness of Biscoe; brothers Carl Brady (Barbara) of Troy and Johnny Brady of Troy. Grandchildren Cody, Brett, Dylan, Tyler, Austin, Paris, Cameron and seven great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 13, 2022 at Phillips Funeral Home from 6-8 pm.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 14, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Big Oak Christian Church with the Rev. Gene Davis and Rev. Mark Medlin officiating. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.
