Lee Vernon Hales

Lee Vernon Hales, 68, of Candor, died Sunday, May 17, 2015 at his residence. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Mr. Hales was born in Lee County to Frank and Mary Lee Criscoe Hales. He was a truck driver. Mr. Hales was preceded in death by step-children, Kim Bowman, Perry McLeod, and Timothy McLeod. Surviving are his wife, Lois Ross Hales of the home; son, Chad McLeod of Supply; daughter, Shonda Greene of Supply; brother, Ed Hales of Carthage; sister, Frances Bib of Carthage; grandchildren, Brittany Key, Maddison Lamonds, Seth McLeod, Kaitlyn McLeod, Corbin McLeod, Steven McLeod, Randall McLeod; and, sister-in-law, Helen Williamson. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
