Leonard Odell Greene

Leonard Odell Greene, age 77, of Star passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at his home. Mr. Greene was born in Randolph County on April 11, 1943, the son of the late Harvey Lee Greene, Sr. and the late Margaret Elizabeth Miller Greene. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was employed as a mechanic at Renfro Hosiery Mill and previously worked at Fruit of the Loom Hosiery Mill, both in Star. He is survived by his wife: Linda Jane Greene; one son: Eric Odell Greene (Theresa) of Star, NC; three grandchildren: Page, Mikala, and China; and four great grandchildren: Kylen, Maverick, Addie, and Alayah; one brother: Harvey L. Greene, Jr. (Betty) of Sneeds Ferry, NC. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Guiding Light Baptist Church, 3355 Spies Rd., Star, with Rev.
