Linda Gay Morton

Eagle Springs- Linda Gay Norman Morton, age 63, passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2021, in Reidsville. Ms. Morton was born in Montgomery County on November 1, 1957, to William and Marie Norman. She enjoyed retirement with her children and grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her significant other, Darrell Staley of the home; daughters, Sadie “Lynn” Phelan of Mebane, Kimberly Lowery of Eagle Springs, Felicia Hall of Asheboro, and Ann Marie Jarvis of Winston Salem; sons, Gary Morton of Reidsville and James Morton of Burlington; sisters, Patricia Norman of Florida, Carolyn Helms of Albemarle, Tammy Ledbetter of Reidsville; and brother, Elson Norman of Reidsville. Grandchildren, Matthew, Stephanie, Matt-Matt, Dylan, Alexis, Ethan, Riley, and Adalyn. To my loving wife, I will always love you. Love, Darrell Ms. Morton will lie in repose from 1:00 till 5:00 pm on Friday, August 13, at Phillips Funeral Home.
