Lottie Lapish Spivey

Mrs. Lottie Lapish Spivey, age 89, of 1060 Willie Road , Seagrove, died Saturday, December 05, 2009 at her residence. Funeral will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 8, at Guiding Light Baptist Church, 3355 Spies Road, Robbins, with the Rev. Clyde Allen officiating. Interment will be in Dover Baptist Church Cemetery, Seagrove. Mrs. Spivey was born in Iredell County to Turner Grissom and Mary Lela Kirkman Lapish. She was retired as a licensed practical nurse for Iredell Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Spivey was predeceased by her husband, Jesse Wallace Spivey. Surviving are one daughter, Rebecca Spivey Hogan, of the home; 3 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 - 9:00 pm, Monday, December 7, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star.
