Lucy Corinna Ward Davis

Star - Lucy Corinna Ward Davis, age 88, passed away Thursday, February 14, 2019, at Spring Arbor of Albemarle.

Mrs. Davis was born in Montgomery County on February 18, 1930, to J. Franklin and Lillie Esther Boroughs Ward. She was a retired hairdresser.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Mac Davis; infant son, Phillip; two brothers, and five sisters.

She is survived by daughters, Connie Hatley and husband, Tommy, of Clover, SC and Carolyn Russell and husband, Larry, of Troy; son, Benny Davis and wife, Ruth, of Star; four grandchildren, Kim McQueen and husband, Steven, Lauri Russell, Marsha Chambers and husband, Shun, and Lindsay Ray and husband, Nick; five great-grandchildren, Breanna Hill, Austin Hill, Gavin Ray, Shun Chambers, Jr., and Camden Hill.

The family will receive friends Sunday, February 17, 2019, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 18, at Dover Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Chris Bouldin officiating.
