Star - Lula Cagle Davis, 93, of 401 Lambert Road, died Monday, February 18, 2013, at Autumn Care of Biscoe. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 21, 2013, at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Martin E. Davis officiating. Interment will be in Dover Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Davis was born on January 7, 1920, in Moore County to Carl C. and Annie Jane Spivey Cagle. She was a farmer and textile employee. She loved to read and loved the song "Wings of a Dove". She was a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her daughters, Shirley Latham (Leon) of Star, Robin D. Collins of Biscoe; sons, Marshall Davis (Vickie) of Star, David Davis (Margaret) of Star; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchild. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Wednesday, February 20, 2013, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star and other times at 410 Greg Street, Biscoe.
