Mrs. Mabel Kennedy Grey, 84, of 206 Emerywood Drive, Biscoe, died Saturday, February 11, 2012 at FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, February 13, at Page Memorial United Methodist Church in Biscoe with the Rev. Kjersti DeVries officiating. Interment will follow in Biscoe Cemetery. Mrs. Grey was born in Montgomery County to George Manley and Sara Ella English Kennedy. She was a member of Page Memorial United Methodist Church and a homemaker. Mrs. Grey was predeceased by her husband, Ernest Lenton Grey, Sr. Surviving are Five Sons: Michael Grey, Biscoe, NC Bryon Grey, Biscoe, NC Geoffrey Grey, Biscoe, NC Greg Grey, Biscoe, NC Ernest Grey, Jr., Greensboro, NC Four Daughters: Judy Brinkman, Climax, NC Coleen Graham, Biscoe, NC Cheryl Carroll, Victoria, TX Shirley Brewer, Sanford, FL Three Brothers: Dudley Kennedy, Biscoe, NC Rufus Kennedy, Biscoe, NC Wayland Kennedy, Pembroke, NC Two Sisters: Beatrice Overton, Biscoe, NC Mary Sigmon, Matthews, NC 11 grandchildren The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Sunday, February 12, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star.
