Margaret Davis Beitzel

Star - Margaret “Geraldine” Davis Beitzel, age 72, passed away Saturday, December 30, 2017, at her home.

Mrs. Beitzel was born in Montgomery County on May 26, 1945 to Jesse Lee and Dorothy Maxine (Spivey) Davis. She was a retired furniture employee.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Joe Ed Davis, Sr.

She is survived by her husband, Eric Tryon Beitzel, of the home; one daughter, Kristie Maness Williams of Star; one son, Jesse Mack Beitzel of Star; two sisters, Hilda Davis and Ruth Ann Davis, both of Star; one brother, Kelly Davis, of Mt. Gilead; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 2, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Phillips Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am at Star House of Praise, 217 McBride Lumber Road, Star with the Rev. Lucas McCaskill and Rev. Matthew Morgan officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
