Margie Blanche Williamson Stewart

Biscoe - Margie Blanche Williamson Stewart, 80, died Thursday, June 23, 2016, at her home.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, June 27, 2016, at Biscoe Presbyterian Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Dr. Bruce Lax officiating. Interment will be in Biscoe Cemetery.

Mrs. Stewart was born in Moore County to Ernest and Bonnie Cooper Williamson. She was retired from the finishing department at Clayson Knitting Co Inc.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, C. M., Clyde, Tommy, and sisters, Vellie Bray and Betty Henley.

She is survived by her husband, Paul J. Stewart, of the home; sons, John Paul Stewart (Lisa), and Sam Stewart, all of Biscoe; sisters, Martha Luther of Biscoe, Lucille Carter (Jim) of Troy, and Judy Stevens (Gerald) of Star; four grandchildren, Jessica Blake (Charlie) of Candor, Samantha, Jason, and Cameron Stewart.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Sunday, June 26, 2016, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star.
