Seagrove - Marie Esther Brewer Chriscoe, 81, of 764 Chrisco Road, died Thursday, June 7, 2012, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, June 9, 2012, at Union Grove Baptist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Martin E. Davis officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Chriscoe was born in Davidson County to Willie J. and Glennie Davis Brewer. She was a retired mold operator with Black & Decker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ottis O. Chriscoe; brothers, Thomas, Vernon , and Gurney Brewer; sisters, Dorothy Auman, Ruth Kennedy, and Barbara Kennedy. She is survived by her daughter, Gwen Brown and husband Carson, of Kernersville; son, Ralph Chriscoe and wife, Christine, of Atlanta, Georgia; son, James S. Chriscoe and wife, Judy, of Denton; brother, Joe Brewer and wife, Shirley, of Seagrove; sisters, Betty Sue Garner and husband, Vernon, of Robbins; sister, Geraldine Frye and husband, Kinney, of Robbins; special friend, Harold Chriscoe, of Seagrove; grandchildren, Derek and Kyle Chriscoe, of Atlanta; Kent Chriscoe and wife, Tricia, of Denton; Jeremy Luck of Asheboro; Dia Budkey and husband, Lee, of Kernersville; great-grandchildren, Jenna, Lane, and Kaelyn. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Friday, June 8, 2012, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star and other times at 764 Chrisco Road, Seagrove, NC.
