Lois Marie Mabe Martin

Lois Marie Mabe Martin, age 95, of Star, passed away on June 6, 2024, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.

Marie was born on December 6, 1928, in Montgomery County to Sandy Theodore and Susie Allen Mabe.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Carl Martin, brothers Leon Mabe, Don Mabe and Johnny Mabe and sister Vienna Wright.

She is survived by her daughter Susan Reynolds (Brian) of Star; sons Terry Martin (Denise) of Florida; Steve Martin of Star and Phillip Martin (Judy) of Star; sister Wavie Presnell of Seagrove. Grandchildren Beth, Brian, Stacey, Matthew, Adam, Ashley, and Terry Jr.; great grandchildren Kaleigh, Tyler, Ashley, Brianna, Shaun, Ian, Gavin, Samantha and Katelyn.  As well as great great grandchildren  Addilyn and Aliea Rillo, Brixton and Brantley Goosman.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 7, 2024, at Phillips Funeral Home from 5:00-7:00 pm.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at First Baptist Church in Star at 4:00 pm with Rev. Ralph Smith and Rev. Jimmy Shirlen officiating. Burial will follow at Leach Cemetery.
