Martha Ann McLester Greene

Martha Ann McLester Greene, age 71, passed away Friday, August 31, 2018, at Hospice Haven in Rockingham.

Mrs. Greene was born in Montgomery County on April 29, 1947, to Thomas Edmond and Annie Etta Blake McLester. She was a retired hosiery mill employee.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Greene; sister, Eunice Britt; and brother, Carl McLester

She is survived by two sons, Robert Dwayne Greene and wife, Gaynell, of Rockingham, and Scott Greene and wife, Bobbie, of Ocean Isle; one step-son, Travis Chriscoe, of Troy; two brothers, Tommy McLester of Monroe, and David McLester of Asheboro; and three grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Monday, September 3, 2018, from 10:00-10:45 AM at Calvary Temple, 104 N Main Street, Biscoe and other times at the home.

The funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Terry Kivett officiating. Interment will follow in Star Pentecostal Church Cemetery.
