Marvin Edward Williamson

Star - Marvin Edward Williamson, age 76, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at his residence.

Mr. Williamson was born in Moore County to John L. and Katie (Sheffield) Williamson. He was a retired hosiery mill fixer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Judith Nooe Williamson, and son, Johnny E. Williamson.

He is survived by one daughter, Sandra Brower (Stony) of Robbins; two sons, Donnie Williamson (Melinda) of Robbins, Marvin Edward Williamson, Jr. of Biscoe; seven grandchildren, Gary Davis (Shabella), Christian Dakota Morgan, Brittney Lemonds, Cody Lane Brower, Travis Williamson, Patrick Williamson, Cynthia Dunlap, Lucas Williamson; and five great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Friday, June 16, 2017 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 S. Main St., Star, NC and other times at the home of Sandra and Stony Brower, 1411 Browns Mill Road, Robbins.

The funeral will be 2:00 pm Saturday at Brown's Chapel Christian Church, 608 Brown's Chapel Church Rd., Robbins with the Rev. Clyde Allen and Rev. Edwin Moore officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
