Mary A. Hogan Star - Mary Ethel Allen Hill Hogan, 89, of 2374 Ether Road, died Thursday, April 9, 2009, at her residence. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, April 13, 2009, at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Freeman officiating. Burial will be at Shady Grove Christian Church Cemetery. Mrs. Hogan was born in Montgomery County to the late John B. and Ada Needham Allen. She was the owner of Hills Grocery Store. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Troy Hill and Fred R. Hogan. Surviving are nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Phillips Funeral Home in Star and other times at the home.
