Mary Louise Comer Greene

Louise C. Greene Seagrove - Mary Louise Comer Greene, 88, formerly of Seagrove, died Monday, December 19, 2011, in Winston-Salem. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 22, 2011, at Dover Baptist Church, where she was a member, with the Dr. Don Davis, Rev. Gary Byrum, and Rev. Ronnie Stewart officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Greene was born in Moore County to Charlie V. and Eutishie Mae Gordon Comer. She was a homemaker and a hosiery mill employee. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Greene; brothers, Clyde, Gordon, Robert, and Clinton Comer. Surviving are her daughters, Glenda Greene of Lewisville, Lora Greene of East Bend, Wanda Litchard (Thomas) of Winston-Salem, Treasure Jaynes of Winston-Salem; son, Doyle Greene (Dorothy) of Seagrove; sister, Geneva King (Reece) of Seagrove; brother, J. C. Comer, of Eagle Springs; five grandchildren, Grayson Vincent Jaynes, David Jaynes, Alex Litchard, Hannah Greene, Mary Carlyle "Carly" Greene; three great-grandchildren, Grayson Jaynes II, Amelia Jaynes, Maggie Peterson. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Wednesday, December 21, 2011, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star.
