Mary Helen Overton Hoover, age 83, of 135 Eldorado St., Troy, died Thursday, March 11, 2010, at FirstHealth Moore Regional in Pinehurst. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 13, 2010, at Marcus United Methodist Church with Co-Pastors Myron and Barbara Dice and Rev. Mark Moore officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. She was a native of Montgomery County and was a member of Pleasant Hill UMC. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry A. Overton, sons, Sam and Tim Overton. Surviving are: Sons: Steve A. Overton of Troy Edgar Overton of Candor Sister: Jesse Morton of Troy Grandchildren: Scott Overton, Crystal Carpenter, Tyler Overton, Paul Overton, Keith Overton, Brian Overton, Greg Overton, Kevin Overton, Tony Overton, Gabriel Overton, and Timon Overton 11 Great Grandchildren The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM, at Marcus UMC, 2051 Windblow Road,Jackson Springs.
