Mary Elizabeth Scott

Candor - Mary Elizabeth Hart Scott, 72, formerly of "The Villages in Florida", died Tuesday, October 28, 2014, at Sandy Ridge Assisted Living. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2014, at Coble Ward-Smith in Wilmington. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Mrs. Scott was born in Green County, Pennsylvania to the late William Newton and Helen Pearl Johnson Hart. She was a retired office manager with National Goldbond Inc. She is survived by her daughter, Kim Swift, of Norwood; sons, John Edward Swift, III of Wilmington, Eric William Swift of Osteen, FL; sister, Toni Duckworth, of Baltimore, MD. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association, West Carolina Chapter, 3800 Shamrock Drive, Charlotte, NC 28215.
