Mary Faye Shannon

Mary Faye Pritchard Shannon, age 92, of Eagle Springs, passed away on May 2, 2023, at FirstHealth Hospice House.

Faye was born on June 10, 1930, in Randolph County to Ebra and Delitha Monroe Pritchard.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Robert Shannon; son, Larry Shannon; sister, Katherine Yvonne Caldwell; brothers, Willis Pritchard, JE Pritchard and Rudolph Pritchard.

She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Dyer of Eagle Springs; Sharon English (Rufus) of Eagle Springs; Tina Rich (Terry) of Garland; daughter in law, Sandra Shannon of Ramseur; six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2023, at Phillips Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 pm.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 5, 2023, at Big Oak Christian Church at 2:00 pm with the Rev. Bill Bean officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
